Honda Hybrid and Electric Vehicles
“Fun to drive” is at the core of our DNA, but sustainability is in our nature.
That’s why Honda is committed to environmentally responsible vehicles and working toward a zero-carbon-emissions future. With two sources of power, impressive fuel economy and lower emissions, hybrid vehicles are just one of many ways Honda is creating more sustainable transportation.
In addition to savings at the pump, hybrid vehicles can help reduce air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and dependency on oil. Hybrid electric vehicles combine an internal combustion engine with an electric motor for higher fuel economy and reduced emissions. The onboard battery stores energy generated during braking and deceleration, eliminating the need to plug in and recharge.
2017 Honda Accord Hybrid
47/49 hwy/city MPG Rating

Our best Accord is actually a Hybrid.
Style. Power. Performance. Plus an incredible 49 mpg rating. The Accord Hybrid is both technologically sophisticated and uniquely stylish. Why settle when you can have the best of both worlds? An industry-first two-motor hybrid system uses one motor to accelerate Accord Hybrid from a dead stop, and a second to start the engine and charge the first motor.
The instrument panel is innovative, elegant and intuitive all at once, and shows your speed, fuel and battery levels, and other driver information. Switch to Sport Mode in Accord Hybrid and tap into both motors for better acceleration and added exhilaration. And a smaller battery pack means more space in the trunk for everything from groceries to golf clubs.

The Honda Fit EV uses no gas, produces no emissions and earned an impressive 118-MPGe combined rating3.
The Fit EV is equipped with the same safety features as every other new Honda passenger vehicle available for sale. Six airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) all come standard.
The Fit EV is also equipped with LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) connectors in two second-row seating positions that provide a simple and convenient way of attaching child seats.
An Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure enhances occupant protection and crash compatibility in frontal crashes. Front airbags and front-side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS) help protect you and your passengers.
The lithium-ion battery is encased in a steel jacket and is designed to be non-reactive in any crash, even if punctured. For added protection, in the event of a sufficient impact the battery will be automatically shut down. It must then be reset by an EV-certified Honda dealer.
